Louisiana Also Requires: Louisiana State-Specific Exam
Louisiana requires a state-specific exam covering Louisiana surveying laws (RS 37:681 et seq.), minimum standards, and French colonial survey systems unique to Louisiana.
How to Apply
- 1Verify you meet Louisiana's experience requirements through the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board.
- 2Gather work experience documentation and professional references.
- 3Submit your application to the Louisiana state board (not directly to NCEES).
- 4Once approved by the state board, receive authorization from NCEES.
- 5Register and pay through your MyNCEES account ($375 exam fee).
- 6Schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE test center.
