Texas Also Requires: Texas State-Specific Exam
Texas requires a state-specific exam covering Texas surveying law (Texas Occupations Code Chapter 1071), rules of the board, and the Texas Administrative Code.
How to Apply
- 1Verify you meet Texas's experience requirements through the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying.
- 2Gather work experience documentation and professional references.
- 3Submit your application to the Texas state board (not directly to NCEES).
- 4Once approved by the state board, receive authorization from NCEES.
- 5Register and pay through your MyNCEES account ($375 exam fee).
- 6Schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE test center.
