New York requires a state-specific exam covering New York surveying law (Education Law Article 145, Title VIII) and standards of practice.
How to Apply
- 1Verify you meet New York's experience requirements through the New York State Education Department — Office of the Professions.
- 2Gather work experience documentation and professional references.
- 3Submit your application to the New York state board (not directly to NCEES).
- 4Once approved by the state board, receive authorization from NCEES.
- 5Register and pay through your MyNCEES account ($375 exam fee).
- 6Schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE test center.
