Pennsylvania requires a state-specific exam covering Pennsylvania surveying laws (63 P.S. Section 148 et seq.) and standards of practice.
How to Apply
- 1Verify you meet Pennsylvania's experience requirements through the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
- 2Gather work experience documentation and professional references.
- 3Submit your application to the Pennsylvania state board (not directly to NCEES).
- 4Once approved by the state board, receive authorization from NCEES.
- 5Register and pay through your MyNCEES account ($375 exam fee).
- 6Schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE test center.
