Oregon requires a state-specific exam covering Oregon surveying law (ORS Chapter 672), standards of practice, and Donation Land Claims unique to Oregon and Washington.
How to Apply
- 1Verify you meet Oregon's experience requirements through the Oregon Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying.
- 2Gather work experience documentation and professional references.
- 3Submit your application to the Oregon state board (not directly to NCEES).
- 4Once approved by the state board, receive authorization from NCEES.
- 5Register and pay through your MyNCEES account ($375 exam fee).
- 6Schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE test center.
