4 years of qualifying experience with ABET degree; 8 years without degree; at least 2 years in responsible charge
Idaho Also Requires: Idaho State-Specific Exam
Idaho requires a state-specific exam covering Idaho surveying statutes (Idaho Code Title 54, Chapter 12) and standards of practice.
How to Apply
- 1Verify you meet Idaho's experience requirements through the Idaho Board of Licensure of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors.
- 2Gather work experience documentation and professional references.
- 3Submit your application to the Idaho state board (not directly to NCEES).
- 4Once approved by the state board, receive authorization from NCEES.
- 5Register and pay through your MyNCEES account ($375 exam fee).
- 6Schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE test center.
