Colorado Also Requires: Colorado State-Specific Exam
Colorado requires a state-specific surveying exam covering Colorado Revised Statutes Title 38, Article 51 (Survey Plat Act) and state regulations.
How to Apply
- 1Verify you meet Colorado's experience requirements through the Colorado State Board of Licensure for Architects, Professional Engineers, and Professional Land Surveyors.
- 2Gather work experience documentation and professional references.
- 3Submit your application to the Colorado state board (not directly to NCEES).
- 4Once approved by the state board, receive authorization from NCEES.
- 5Register and pay through your MyNCEES account ($375 exam fee).
- 6Schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE test center.

30 PDH per biennial renewal
