Utah Also Requires: Utah State-Specific Exam
Utah requires a state-specific exam covering Utah surveying laws (Utah Code Title 58, Chapter 22), USPLSS (U.S. Public Land Survey System), and state-specific survey practices.
How to Apply
- 1Verify you meet Utah's experience requirements through the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing.
- 2Gather work experience documentation and professional references.
- 3Submit your application to the Utah state board (not directly to NCEES).
- 4Once approved by the state board, receive authorization from NCEES.
- 5Register and pay through your MyNCEES account ($375 exam fee).
- 6Schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE test center.
