Re-verified 2026-07-08: the July 1, 2022 Mapping Deposit/Fee Schedule is STILL the governing schedule — it is the '2022-23 Fee Schedule (Updated: 1-07-2025)' currently linked from OC Public Works' live Map Checking and Annexations page (pwds.oc.gov/service-areas/oc-development-services/oc-survey-map-checks-right-way/map-checking-and-annexations); PDF downloaded and pdftotext-confirmed ($1,421.00 Deposit (T&M), Fee Code 5136). IMPORTANT: a new Map Checking Fee Schedule (updating all Resolution 21-048 categories) went to the Board of Supervisors on June 23, 2026 with a stated effective date of September 1, 2026 (public notice ASR 26-001121 at pwds.oc.gov) — the new amounts were not published in the notice, so re-check this fee after 2026-09-01.
Two corroborating figures on the same live PDF (effective 2026-01): the 'Filing of maps' miscellaneous-fee line ($8.00 + $2.00/page) and the general recording fee schedule. The Map Check Deposit schedule (2022) separately lists Clerk-Recorder recording fees for Record of Survey/Amending Maps at $6.00 first sheet + $2.00/additional sheet, which differs slightly — the 2026 Clerk-Recorder schedule supersedes and is the authoritative current figure.

No newer Anaheim Planning fee schedule has been published; the August 2025 schedule remains current, figures unchanged.
Confirmed by the city's Subdivision Section procedures document, Section IX(C) 'County Approval and Map Recordation': 'the Subdivision Section will call the developer's Title Company to pick up the map and any other agreements or covenants. The title company shall submit the map to the County for approval and recordation.' Final tract/parcel maps also require full technical review by the Orange County Surveyor's Office regardless of city processing.
